Chinooks
A work colleague of mine informed me today that he regularly hears two Chinooks late in the evening in the Bridgwater Bay - Burnham -on-Sea area. Can anybody confirm this or is he mistaken it for something from Yeovilton either Wildcats or Merlins. There seems to be quite regular flying between Yeovilton and Murryfield at the moment about 10 o'clockish in the evenings.
Re: Chinooks
A single Chinook is usually over the Quantocks (to the SW of Bridgwater Bay) about 6.30pm in the first half of the week heading SW but the other regular time is about 11pm or 3am. I've never seen or heard more than one though.
