Red Arrows Falmouth Week

Post by woody » Sun Jul 26, 2015 5:49 pm

Hi . On holiday in Cornwall in a couple of weeks and looking to catch the Reds displaying at Falmouth during the Regatta. I will have grandniece in tow and just wondering where they generally display and a good vantage point. Is it in the harbour/estuary or on the coastline?. Not too worried about a good photo location, just somewhere close to the action. Many thanks for any hints and tips.

Regards.
Steve

They use the Fowey river to display over in the centre of the town.
There are numerous places to view from but the majority watch from the high ground over looking the river on the St Austell side (NW). It will be obvious when you get there if you've never been, it's quite a small place.

Er, Nick. I think Steve wanted info on the Falmouth Regatta display, not Fowey.
Unfortunately I've never been so can't help you there. All that I know is the date and time, 12/08 @ 1815
