North Wales trip low fly log 8/8-10/8/16

Spent a few days touring North Wales. Not a spotting trip but saw the following when out and about

Mon 8/8/16

C130Js x2 Judgement 1-2 (ZH887/ZH883) low eastbound over Llyn Clwedog, Llanidloes 1355L ( did Bala-Cad-Corris)

Tornado GR4s x2 Jackal 21/22 (Pinky! ZG750/ZG779) low over Machynlleth heading for the Loop at 1432L

Tue 9/8/16

Tornado GR4 Marham 50 (Pinky! OP Granby special ZG750) low and fast along Lake Vyrnwy heading southwest at 1107L

Puma HC2 landed at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel (XW224) the pilot picking up a take away lunch!! Arrived 1218, departed 1225

Tornado GR4 (Pinky yet again!!! ZG750) low and fast along Lake Bala at 1339

C130J Ascot 119 (50 year Special ZH883) low passed our hotel in Mallwyd. Did the loop twice at 1830

Wed 10/08/16

Hawk T2 Mallwyd-Bwlch y Groes-Bwlch Bwlch- (ZK029) at 1115L

Thu 11/08/16

F15Es x4 medium level over Harlech at 1445

Chinook HC4 Vortex 253 (ZA674) low below Harlech Castle! At 1500

I'm often in and around Snowdonia and it is good to hear where stuff has been eyeballed.
Lake Vyrnwy is a magical place.

Cheers Dan, great was nice to see a Tornado especially after sitting by the lake boring the girlfriend about how Tornados use Lake Vyrnwy dam as a target, as soon as the words left my mouth Pinky appears to my right ! ;-)
