Germany trip, February 28th 2011

BERLIN SCHONEFELD AIRPORT

We arrived here for our visit to Laage and noted amongst all the civvys was;

Mil Mi8T D-HOZH ex 94+24/NVA 985

BERLIN TEMPLEHOF AIRPORT

We drove past this historic and now disused airfield where the following was seen;

C54G 45-0557
VFW 614 17+01

LAAGE AIRPORT

A quick stop here saw a Cessna and replica Heinkel 126 in the terminal and numerous DA20s, PA Twins, etc of the local school. Across the airfield could be seen EF2000, F4F and 2 A4s which will be reported in the following log.

LAAGE AIR BASE

The main event, this was an excellent visit with access to every aircraft on base. The following is recorded as to where the aircraft were parked though for EF2000 35+46 and 35+47, these were only seen in the air. All aircraft belong to JG 73
