Wittmund 27/4/2017

Post by KoenL » Fri Apr 28, 2017 6:06 pm

As this subforum hasn't seen any action in a while I thought it was time for a log.

Arriving yesterday were Austrian Typhoons 7L-WD, WH, WJ, WG, WI, WO and WB (in order of arrival). Visiting for a support flight was Hercules 8T-CB.
Other visitors noted were JbG33 Tornados 45+57 and 45+71, as well as Lynx 83+06.

The Austrians are due to stay for 2 weeks, flying 8 sorties per day and starting on May 2nd.

HTH,

Koen

It's quite good, there are lots of spots close to the runway on the south side. I've marked these areas in blue on a Google Maps screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/rJOvzJW.jpg You do need a stepladder of course.
If you have any specific questions let me know on here or via PM.
