Is it at the Kelvingrove site?
From what I've seen there are wires to contend with.
Anyone know what the light is like?

Re: Anyone shot the Spitfire in Glasgow?
Kelvingrove Museum, indeed.
There's only really one spot you can shoot it from the side from and even then it's tight (there's literally a matter of inches between the wingtip and the stonework). My shot was 17 or 18mm (virtually no cropping done) on a 1.6x crop camera and involved removing my tripod's central column and using it horizontally but it its possible. Will have to try again now I've got a full frame body actually.
And if you're still note convinced it right next to the uni so there's plenty of student totty in the area
