You may wear a mask while using, but I can't say whether it will improve your editing. :Wow:

I would shoot in raw if I could get a camera or tablet to do all the editing for me while I am watching coronation Street

Looks interesting - can you download load a working version for Nikon Raw format. A CD came with my Nikon D3300 - maybe I should look at it.

( I used to work in software until I retired . The mention of C# , .Net and plugins reminds me of my 9 to 5)

I am interested in photography (which is why I want to upgrade my camera body but they are so expensive ) but I just can't get excited about editing , although having said that I do crop my photos which is probably the biggest break through that digital photography brings to the lay person apart from instant results.

I don't think current lady is quite ready for the gimp mask!

I'm glad that this thread has degenerated down to my level of expertise :thumb:

A few weeks back I finished trying to improve on a RAW out of focus image and saved it as a jpeg file. Uploaded it to Flickr.

I then looked at it on two other PC monitors and a tablet.
So that gave me jpeg on processing PC monitor; two other Flickr monitors and a tiny tablet screen. Each one looked different.

I will not live long enough to make a living as a photographer.

Ps. Does WTF mean what I think it does?

Thanks for the confirmation. It covers my reaction to the changes in forum style.
Lots of new stuff to learn - I think that it is called experience.
Anyone know what happened to the little smilie thingies?

Aah, ha!  Hidden under full editor. Absolute magic don't you think?
