Hi All, Just getting into taking photo's , I have a Tameron AF 70-300 1:4-5.6 from new . Would it be worth getting a used canon 75-300 canon EF 75-300F/4-5.6 III usm , or just stay with the one I have? any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest the best lens at that price range is the Sigma 70-300 APO DG. When I read-up on this focal range of lenses a couple of years ago, this Sigma lens consistently came out best in tests. I got one and it was a great lens.
The best Canon lens at that range is the 70-300 IS lens - but that's approx £200 more (but a great lens for the money).

Hi, thanks for the reply on this one,have looked on a few of revews site's and there's not that much between them. But the sigma I have does seem to come out verry well of the two so I guess there wouldn't be much point in getting the canon as well. But many thanks for the replyes, much appreciated spike.
