Nikon D300 repair

Post by reaper493 » Mon Jan 09, 2017 8:41 am

Hi all,

My D300 has died, wont power up.

Has anyone had a repair done on this or a similar camera? If so what price?

Toying with repairing it or getting a decent 2nd hand one......

cheers,

Mike

A 2nd hand D300 in WEX is £155, which I would suspect is alot cheaper than repairing your D300, last Item I sent for repair was a lens as it was not focusing, bill was £485 !

Ouch!

I've just had a quote back from one place,£120, plus postage to get it there and back with their specialist courier of £36......

I'm going to try one more place, then i think it'll be a case of buy a new one!

Bad luck. Still you may be able to recover a few quid by selling the old one for spares
