Sigma 18-300mm contemporary lens

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sigma-18-300mm ... op?ie=UTF8 - this lens

I recently purchased a Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens (beautiful lens), however I find that the 150mm minimum zoom can be rather restrictive. Looking around for lenses I came across the 18-300mm by Sigma. After being impressed with the quality of the 150-600mm lens, I'd definitely consider getting another sigma lens. Has anyone used this lens? and if so would they recommend it?
Originally I was looking into buying the Canon 24-105 L lens, however even second hand it is out of my price range.
I know with superzooms you sacrifice a bit of sharpness, however I am only ever going to be using this lens up to about 150mm, so that shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
Also f/6.3 isn't a problem for me as I always shoot at f/9 just to get the sharpest possible image without too much of a drop in shutterspeeds.
It will spend most of its time on my Canon 600D
Will this lens be a good buy?
