Canon 100-400 mk2 hire

Post by Dan M » Thu Jun 16, 2016 7:10 am

Hi guys

I think this is going to be a tall order... but....

I was hoping to hire said lens for RIAT weekend, as like a try before I buy sort of thing. However I discovered yesterday that all the usual places online have none available.

Do you guys know of anywhere that might still have one?

Thanks in advance

Dan

Save the Hire cost! If you're seriously looking to buy one....do it NOW! No need to 'Try'....it's the Dogs' Cahonies!!
You could get Finance from WEX & the saving on 'Hire' would go towards the interest, Mathers can sell you one for £1695, or 'Grey' if you have finance in place, for less than £1300!! :thumb:

I agree too.

100% happy with mine.

If you buy it, use it and are unhappy with it you can use your statutory rights to return it for a refund anyway just think about what payment method you use.

Dan M,
Please See 4 posts below yours....viewtopic.php?f=23&t=132367 for the 'Panamoz' route?? :thumb:
Good advice about sourcing finance from ChrisCwmbran & if you do buy from overseas ensure the price advertised is the 'Bottom-line' with no additional taxes & Currency fluctuations!
Consider using your credit card to pay as you get more protection for the minor cost of the Foreign Transaction Fee,,,,,BUT make sure you can pay-off the card before next month with alternate finance....OR...
For a blinder, transfer your next-month card balance to another provider (Fee applies). Find one with interest-free for X months & NEVER use it for any other purchases That way any payment you make is reducing the 'free-loan'?? ;)

I agree with the above. Just buy one. It's a great lens. Bearing in mind that you are likely to have it for years - it's a bargain.

98% of what I post here is taken with a 100-400 V2

excellent lens, well worth the money

much better than the V1 which I also had, now sold

best
