Hi Everyone,
just a quick question regarding the amount of storage I might need for an event, don't want to fill up my storage. I'm off to Bahrain International Air Show for a day later this week. I'm shooting with a Canon 7D Mk II and only shooting in Large RAW. I have a 64GB and a 16GB SD card at the minute but was going to get another 64GB SD just to be on the safe side as I don't want to run out or have to download the camera mid shoot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How much space.....?
According to the details in the 7DII Users Manual (P.96), with 80G you should get 2900 shots. Canon estimate that for every 8G you get 290 shots, so for your 80G its 2900. In reality you will probably get slightly more. This is full size so if reduced to RAW S you could have 5100 shots available. Hope this helps.

Re: How much space.....?
I'm more interested how many pictures people end up taking at these events. I don't want to end up with running out of storage before I am out of shooting opportunities.

with the price of cards as low as they are right now, I would go out and buy some 16 or 32 gb cards.................
