Canon 50D Question
Re: Canon 50D Question
Hi,
I have always left it at the factory setting and do post processing sharpening.
Not saying this is the right way just saying what works for me.
All the best
Andy

Re: Canon 50D Question
Hi Darren,
It differs from camera to camera, lens to lens. There is no standard setting for a particular lens. You have to find It out for yourself and adjust the setting accordingly.
Cheers,
Ranger

Re: Canon 50D Question
A large well established camera shop suggested increasing the camera sharpness. Not something I'd ever considered before but was interested to here others view on the matter.

Re: Canon 50D Question
If you are shooting in camera JPEGs, or post processing with software that uses the image file's picture profile settings (i.e. DPP) then it is relevant, otherwise it does nothing.
