Nice log! are there many RAF transports that have gone to Haiti? or is the RAF C130 support for the Harriers?

What a good base to visit!

Thanks for posting

Gareth,
Our Government have done little so far to help Haiti. They have pledged £15m less than the donations the British public have done themselves.... We sent out a rescue team by civil air transport but they are home already....
Sending out an RFA Bay class ship at the end of the month (yes end of the month) when the whole world was doing it last week....
Even Belgium has sent a decent sized contingent out there, as have the Turkish (look how many hercs they sent).

We can't afford it and we can't find any spare aircraft probably... or they will find some reason. Yet look at what we mustered for the Tsunami. Lots more (C17s, Helicopters, Military search teams etc) - and we were fighting wars back then too.
