Thanks Sandro,
Is the Typhoon replacing all of the F-16s or are these the last ones to go to storage?

At the moment only these F-16A/B going to storage.
Now the 37° stormo at Trapani AB [Sicily] has 2 gruppi [squadrons] with F-16A/B [10° gruppo and 18° gruppo]
meanwhile Gioia del Colle AB has only the 12° gruppo with Typhoon. This is the situation now in the south of Italy.
In the north CAP duty belong to 4° stormo of Grosseto AB with 9° gruppo and 20° gruppo [OCU squadron] all
together with Typhoon a/c.
Cervia AB [23° gruppo now disbanded] in the next future will become a rotational air base [especially with Typhoon deployments from Grosseto AB]
& will hosts 83° gruppo with HH-3F which move from Rimini Airport.
Come back to south of Italy situation probably in the next two years change , one between the two gruppi of Trapani AB will disbanded
[probably 18° gruppo] and the other move to Gioia del Colle AB leaving the F-16A/B [cause end of the leasing] for Typhoon.

Hoping to be clear with my english
Greetings
