Cosford 2018

Post by George Aldrich » Wed Jun 13, 2018 5:15 pm

Popped to Cosford on the Saturday for PDAs as well as the Sunday show. Some light and haze issues in the mornings, and bucketloads of heat distortion throughout the day for lenses to cope with, but an enjoyable weekend nonetheless. Images from both days in no particular order.

Photographing into sun was definitely challenging but you've coped very well. #3 is a belter. This was the highlight of the display for me and the only performance which triggered the car alarms (always the sign of a good display).

Looks like it was nice air show for sure! Never been to Cosford myself but I like your pictures very much!

May I ask what lens you used in terms of mm (reach)?

That second Fulcrum shot that looks like it is appearing out of the clouds is a bit special.

It gives the impression it is about to bounce on a target

Nr's 2 and 8 for me. Because Nr 2 is quite atmospheric and Nr 8 is one of the more unusual angles.
Thanks for posting them George.

Cheers

Thank you both. Just what I was aiming to capture with number 2 mostly, so thanks!
