I have been wanting to do a night shoot here for years, I would have done it sooner had it not been a two hour drive away, so I jumped at the chance when the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum organised a small night shoot.
The format was free, some work lighting was supplied and we were free to do what we wanted, including our own light painting and flash photography, which is a total and refreshing change from other organised events. At least we all didn't come away with the same photos as the next guy... and no enactors either!
It was bitterly cold outside in the wind with the occasional snow flurry, which paled into comparison with the stuff I got driving home on the M4 at Beattock!
