The late late show - my RIAT 2017

Using the winter months to catch up on my images from 2017 with the aim of having no backlog by the start of the 2018 season. So here is a selection from RIAT, arrivals on Wednesday, and 2 weekend days (my trip to MAKS meant I couldnt get to Fairford for any other days this year). Still what a great show, with better weather this show would have been remembered as a modern classic, however it turned out to be more of a 50 shades of grey event with the light, cloud, and rain meaning it was very challenging photographically with camera limits being pushed quite a way. Having said that it was still a great few days with great aircraft and company.

WOW! What a superb selection of aircraft seen from some fantastic angles. I'm taking some friend's (non-enthusiasts) to next year's Tattoo and I'm going to get them to view these just to whet their appetites. Just wish I had some decent equipment and a sense of photo' composure to get capture something as good as these shots. Thanks for posting - never too late!
