Steve, this is only my personal comment, there's nothing wrong with the first one, just that I would have darkened the blacks a lot more to increase the contrast between the spotty bits and the rest of the picture.
That was an interesting night, that is for sure although having done it twice, I don't think that I'd repeat it.

Wallace, good point. I probably spent more time sorting the colour bits and not paying enough attention to the rest of the shot. I've had another play, and toning it down has led to this
