20/12/15 RUAF A124 RF82041 routing Seshcha to Khrabrovo was intercepted by NATO Baltic Air Policing jets. The aircraft had filed a flightplan but was flying without it's transponder switched on.

25/12/15 Baltic Air Policing HuAF Gripens scrambled to intercept a RUAF Tu-134 over the Baltic Sea. It departed Kaliningrad towards mainland Russia and was escorted by two Chernyakhovsk based Su-27s which turned back towards their base in Estonian airspace. The aircraft had its transponder switched off but was flying according to a pre-filed flightplan and maintainted radio contact with air traffic control.

Spanish Air Force Typhoons have started to arrive in Šiauliai, Lithuania for their four month (Jan-Apr 16) Baltic Air Policing duties.

C. 16-35 / 14-02 reported in EYSA 26/1/16. Replaced unknown?
C. 16-37 / 14-04
C. 16-40 / 11-14
C. 16-44 / 14-09
C. 16-48 / 14-12

Belgian Air Force have also started arriving in Ämari, Estonia from Florennes for their four month deployment.

FA135 Arrived in Ämari 14/4/16 as BAF211

Official handover is on the 7th of January

First off thanks for posting this thread, very interesting

Do you know which other two BAF F-16s are there? I know FA-57 and FA-94 are, haven't seen the other two mentioned yet

26/3/16 1322z: Belgian AF F-16s EI01 and EI02 (FA-86 and FA-94) scrambled from Ämari in Estonia for a RUAF Tu-134 heading south over the Baltic Sea, 2x Russian Navy QRA SU-27s departed Chernyakhovsk to escort the Tu-134 it into Kaliningrad.

28/3/16: Spanish Air Force Typhoons callsigns MA01 & 02 scrambled from Šiauliai to intercept an RUAF Tu-154 callsign RFF9006 RA-85686 routing from Chkalovsky to Kaliningrad with Russian defense minister Sergey Shoygu on-board. The aircraft was also escorted into Kaliningrad by 2x Russian Navy Su-27s from Chernyakhovsk. One of which was RF-33754 / 95.
