19/5/16: Baltic Air Policing jets scrambled to intercept an RUAF IL-20 over the Baltic Sea. The aircraft departed Kaliningrad and returned after its mission.
19/5/16: The second scrambled was triggered by a Russian IL-18 (RFF9905 RA-75499 routing from St Petersburg to Khrabrovo) according to a pre-filed flight plan, with its transponder switched on while maintaining radio communication.
19/5/16: The third - a RUAF Tu-134 flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad without a flight plan but with its transponder on and maintaining radio communication.
19/5/16: The fourth - a RUAF IL-76 flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad (according to a flight plan, with its transponder on and maintaining radio communication).
19/5/16: The fifth scramble was conducted to intercept the same RUAF IL-18 (RA-75499) flying from Kaliningrad to mainland Russia (according to a pre-filed flight plan, with its transponder switched on and maintaining radio communication).

27/5/16: RAF Typhoons EI01 & 02 scrambled from Ämari to intercepted an RUAF IL-38 (Bort number 16) over the Baltic Sea.

20/5/16: Baltic Air Policing jets identified and escorted one RUAF IL-20 and one RUAF An-26.The former was flying from Kaliningrad to mainland Russia with a flight plan and maintaining radio communication with air traffic control centres but with its transponder off, and the latter was intercepted on its way from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad, it had a flight plan, its transponder was on, and the crew maintained radio communication.

21/5/16: Baltic Air Policing jets intercepted one Russian Navy IL-38 military aircraft above the Baltic Sea flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad. The aircraft was flying according to a pre-filed flight plan, maintained radio communication but its transponder was off.

Later on Baltic Air Policing jets intercepted a Tu-134 (flying according to a pre-filed flight plan, maintaining radio communication, with switched-on onboard transponder) heading towards Kaliningrad from mainland Russia escorted by two Chernyakhovsk based RUAF Su-27 jets flying without flight plans, without maintaining radio communication and without using transponders.

28/6/16 RAF Typhoons EI01 & EI02 scrambled to intercept an unidentified radar contact heading north over the Baltic Sea. The two Typhoons kept their distance as Swedish QRA were currently shadowing the aircraft. Swedish QRA then RTB and the Typhoons took over and identified RUAF IL-20 (R̶F̶-̶9̶5̶6̶1̶0̶ RF-93610) callsign 54350, flying from Khrabrovo to Levashovo. The Typhoons then RTB with Finnish QRA taking over.

10/7/16: Baltic Air Policing jets identified and escorted an RUAF IL-22 aircraft flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad over the Baltic Sea. The aircraft was flying in accordance to a misapplied flight plan approved for an IL-18 aircraft. The crew maintained radio communication and used its transponder.

13/7/16 1250z RAF Typhoons EI01 & EI02 intercepted what I think was an RUAF Tu-134 (awaiting confirmation as I missed the first part of the comms) and two RUAF Su-27s southbound over the Baltic Sea.

18/7/16 1450z RAF Typhoons EI01 & EI02 scrambled from Amari to intercept an RUAF Tu-134 Crusty serial RF-90789. The Tu-134 was being escorted by two Chernyakhovsk based Russian Navy Flankers. Su-27P RF-33754 (RED 95) and Su-27UB RF-92436 (RED 101)
