I attended the Finningley arrivals day a couple of times in the mid/late '80s and here are some of the images obtained. The first 9 are all from a lovely sunny day in '86 but the others are from a few years later ('88 I think) on a misty morning when conditions were more challenging.

A thorough trawl of the archives has revealed another batch of arrivals for the '86 show incl. the star of the show - the mighty Viggen courtesy of the local Saab dealer.

Re: Finningley Airshow Arrivals - '80s
I like the F16 and 29 Sqn., F3.I wish I had caught the Belgium Mirage frames , I think those negatives that I did have, got chucked out (by accident I )
but that's life in the fast lane, having a clear out before a house move...Cheers Mick...

Oh the games people play now
Re: Finningley Airshow Arrivals - '80s
The F3 was one of the quartet that flew around the world on Ex Golden Eagle the following year. If you would like some Mirage V images I'd be happy to help out as I've got lots. They always sent 1 or 2 to Finningley.
