Sometimes the very old photos, like the first print. Have a magic way of transporting me back to watching very early air shows, as an air cadet(in the 1960s).I hope you can find more...

Yes, I agree. It's a little indefinable but I think it is sometimes to do with how the aircraft were displayed - like that KC135; just parked, with no barriers and not arranged in a neat line-up like they are today. Feels somehow more "real"....??

Like shots from Upper Heyford. Date for the 1983 show was 13 Aug. The 380BW KC-135A arrived from Fairford on the 11th.

Very good Ni - as others have said these have a great nostalgic feel about them

Could not add any last night from my collection as only on I Pad but mine are nothing like this

Hi All thanks for the feedback I plan to work through what I have.Some have gone missing I know that I had
Spitfire AR213 G-DAKS and the OV-10 from 1983 so if anybody has photos feel free to add to the post
Dad used an old 110 camera for the Hurricane and I think there might be another couple at my mum's .It was the first airshow he took me to and rember looking around a Desert schemed Hercules as there Red Arrow Gnats did there stuff
