Bahrain - 1993

Post by TinyB » Sat Jun 30, 2018 8:27 am

A few shots taken during a 13 Sqn detachment to Sheik Isa AB, Bahrain in November 93. Unfortunately no photos allowed although I managed to get a couple prior to the official photo.

Great. You certainly seem to have got around a bit @ HM's expense. Particularly liking that last shot. Can't understand how these F5s have managed to get under Paddyboy's radar!

They are the GR1A version, as you say known as Scud Hunters during the 1st Gulf war, though it was a mix of jets from the recce sqns, II(AC) and 13 that operated together in the Gulf.
