The media focus on Marham last week with the arrival of the first F-35s got me thinking back to my only base visit there which was back in June 2005 for 13 Sqn.'s 90th. Ann. photocall, one of the best I ever attended with a line up of Tonkas from 8 different units (9 if the solitary F3 is included). This was the first opportunity to photograph Tonkas tooled up with the latest weaponry such as Brimstone + Stormshadow as well as the Raptor pod. Wonder how many of the jets there that day are still flying.

Thanks for these. 13 years ago! remember it as quite difficult to photograph at times. Was a Lakenheath Eagle there, didn't the crew push barriers over day before and RAF had to rope it off? so families day could take pics i think
