Headcorn Aerodrome

Post by jeffers » Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:55 pm

Headcorn in Kent, don't have airshows per se but they do have Spitfire Harvard Tiger Moth flights. They also have the odd visitor during airshow season for parking and fuel.

Nice selection from an unusual location, thanks. Note the broad grin on the passenger's face in pic 4 (Spitfire), which contrasts with the passenger's face in pic 6 (Stearman)!

I spent a day there a few years ago. Great atmosphere, interesting visitors. I think its great they sound off a siren when something interesting is about to appear.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.
