Muzeum Sil Powietrznych, Deblin

Post by POL » Wed May 30, 2018 4:51 pm

Just a few from earlier in the month, the first museum on the way (ish!) to Poznan...

We somehow stumbled upon it being a sort of open day, with free entry and the storage area accessible (well, the barrier was lay flat on the floor). Sadly the hangar with the Yak-18 and a few other bits in was "closed to single persons". Nonetheless, it was sunny, so all was well!

Poland has some great air museums - and apparently good weather, unlike when I went there on holiday.

Is that two Il-28s together in the same place?

Think I need to visit this place...

It is and they have another in store which you can just see behind the Il-14
well worth the visit especially on a week day as you should have some active aircraft buzzing about, oh and its free entry on a tuesday :thumb:

Thanks for the comments everyone. As said above there's actually three IL-28s but I somehow managed to not photograph the other! :(
