In the latter stages of the Cold War and with the highest level MoD/DoD approval Bomber Command regularly tormented NORAD by penetrating US airspace and 'destroying' major US cities without detection. Here are some of the culprits. Later on with transatlantic crossings by smaller aircraft becoming safer the RAF took advantage of the vast Canadian tundra for training purposes.
