Very nice Paddy
Can’t beat a flight of Hunters but the Phantom’s cool. Keep on rummaging.
See you soon hopefully

Boscombe Down 1990. Thanks for reminding me of one of my more memorable hangovers - if thats the correct term. Stayed in an inn in Porton. On the Sunday night the landlord announced that it was his last day and the more beer we drank, the easier his stock take in the morning. We did our best but by golly did we suffer the following day.
Keep 'em coming.

Thanks for posting!
I had the honour of collecting the PR9 pilot at Fairford, and taking him to flight ops for a bit of a lecture! A great guy...

Love the Phantom! Time stood still with that shot, it looks just as if it could have been taken at one of this years shows

Great to see pics of aircraft that are know longer in service, been doing the interest in milatary avaition for 50 plus years , there was not the amount of people interested then. The amount in numbers of aircraft and types was great, every day no matter what part of the uk you were at the sky was always busy ROB

Great memories
The UK military airshow calendar was so full back then especially with the extra USAF bases.
