Seen flying some local missions were 4 x RS F-4E using runway 07. Hope of some interest.

Ramstein F-4Es - what could not be of interest. Can remember being in Germany in 1987 and seeing these streaking across the skies with a load of black soot behind - fantastic !

Great post Kenny - keep all these coming

What memories, great photos, as said already the 80's were great,a truly magical time when phantoms were everywhere.

Was on the old Bentwaters airfield last week, lots of dilapidated buildings still in use by various businesses. But still a few of the old signs there. Hard to remember how active it was when it closed about 25 years ago.!
