Mirage 1V, a French airforce,pièce de résistance.

Post by fisherman » Wed Aug 30, 2017 9:45 pm

Just thought, I would share a few of this beautiful Jet, taken in 2004 through 05 as time was running out, on this big beast!

Hope you enjoy them as I do

One of my favourite "avions classiques". Saw a few back in the 80s attacking RAF airfields on exercises and a couple in museums. Great reminders of the past. Thanks.

You lucky man. Thanks for a great start to the day.

The ladders in shot #6 give perspective. She is enormous! France's Vulcan.

Tres bon Michel. Never had the opportunity to see one in flight which is a big regret - only on static display @ RIAT.

Fantastic plane and a great resume there

Can remeber the first time I saw them down at Bordeaux when I arrived there in 1980 - taxied out after I had landed and took off - what a noise and been a fan ever since

Thanks for posting these
