Great piccy  .

It was a very sad day when these were retired, and what they did with the MRA4 project was just criminal :grr:. We could have still been flying Nimrods, still had a maritime patrol aircraft, and saved a shed load of cash! Now we've still got to wait a while for the Poseidon to enter service.

Still, its nice to see these beauties here. Thanks for sharing!

I used to love standing at the fence of RAF Kinloss with my kids and watching them go through jetwash.

Lazing around at Findhorn with The Mighty Hunter doing circuits and bumps all day long.

Hi Dan.

I was at the Outward Bound Moray Sea School in Burghead as an 18 year old in 64, 19 that is.

I remember one day seeing a mass take off of Shackletons, can't remember exactly how many (suppose someone has the info somewhere)
but I'm having a reasonable guess at about half a dozen.

Good times.

Regards

Great pic. Has anyone got any of St Meagan?
