These used to transit Gatwick regularly. I recall Omanis, the Ghanians, a Malagasy 5T-MAS, Belgians, amongst the daily civvies deliveries.

Recall back in the 70s having a picnic overlooking the airfield. Many Islanders carried Class B registrations so it was a matter of waiting until Air Pictorial came out to see what registrations they'd been allocated.
