Really interesting and different post and looks well worth the effort of getting there esp. walking across the moor. I managed to get a air view pic of the Mysteres from a Chinook on Ex Border Reiver back in '98 whilst it was lifting off from Spadeadam.

They do tours but urbex types tend go for the long wet slog across the moors.

The privately owned hind seems to have been moved over the past year? I don't remember it being so close to the mock airfield.

Small point, I think Mystere IVA "60" in your second-last photo is actually 61?

Looks like a bit of forest management is required to stop some of those frames disappearing under Sitka spruce. I better give them my works card. Could be worse places to practice Silviculture!
