Duxford February Bimbles ~ 16Feb17

Post by Pen Pusher » Thu Feb 16, 2017 6:33 pm

P-51/Ferocious Frankie took advantage of the late winter warm weather and sunshine, for a very brief period, while Spitfire XIV/MV268 was moved into hangar 3 and its stable mate, P-51/Miss Velma was in hangar 2 receiving a bit of TLC. The aircraft in AirSpace have been undergoing a bit of early spring cleaning all week as the dust and cobwebs have been brushed and hovered away. Quiet outside flying wise although there was a visiting Chipmunk from Old Warden and an S-76C from Stansted doing circuits as I left. In the order taken.

Good evening Brian

Very nice indeed, loving the Spitfire and a very interesting shot of the Vulcan's Spring Clean.

Thanks for posting these up, i'm glad you managed to catch something happening today.

Best wishes

Tim
