One of the benefits of the ending of the Cold War to aircraft enthusiasts was the appearance of Russian aircraft operated by former Warsaw Pact nations @ Airshows in the UK (plus those taken on charge by the German AF). Amongst the most spectacular displays were those of the MiG 29 Fulcrum, initially by the Slovaks and more recently by the Poles and Hungarians.
