Sea Fury leaving Culdrose

Post by EGDR » Wed Sep 24, 2014 11:18 am

Hi all,

I very luckily managed to get access to a small media event at Culdrose for when the Sea Fury departed on a low loader to North Weald this morning. Damage to the aircraft after the crash on Culdrose Air Day was said to be relatively minimal, although it is estimated to be an 18 month long repair. Hope you enjoy my photos :thumb:

It's good to see it leaving as it means that the next stop for the North Weald guys is CAF........
What you got lined up for them there to work on at CAF Buddy? ?

She looks very well considering.
I should think the timespan may depend on the engine rebuild mainly - one hopes she gets back flying soon!

Any ideas if she's stopping somewhere en route for a night-stop or has it already arrived at Weald?
