Very interesting - thanks for taking the effort to post.

What's the four-engined prop near the Il-28s?

Ferrari

Thanks for the kind words guys. The museum is "a little neglected" compared to places like Duxford but it does indeed have a huge collection of stuff. I've prolly got 50 more pictures jet of piston and jet engines! I know they hold an annual airshow here as well, though I've never been to it.

TBH, im an Aviation/military enthusiast but not an expert. ;) I'm a yank too so I'm ever more unfamiliar with the eastern block stuff.

Whatever the hell this thing is, is one of the strangest aircraft I've ever seen...

Gents
The 4-engined prop a/c is a PZL MD-12F - a photo-reconnaissance / aerial photography version of what was intended to be a short-range civil airliner.
Only 2 other MD-12s were built, the prototype (SP-PAL) and a passenger version (SP-PBD).
The other wierd beast - he world's only jet powered biplane is a PZL-Mielec M15-03 "Belphegor". It had a top speed of 200 km/h (108 knots, 124 mph) - probably the SLOWEST jet powered aircraft of all time.
I managed to visit the museum the previous summer - there is a hell of a lot of stuff there. It does have to compete with Deblin, which does seem to have more money to spend. (In my view one of the best aircraft museums I've been to).
Thanks for sharing.

MiG fatigue set in there!

A huge collection of fantastic aircraft.

I'd love to go there myself one day.
