Don't beat me up too much

Post by paddyboy » Fri Oct 21, 2016 3:34 pm

Hi Peeps :P

Just finished a full renovation of Paddy Towers, and these old pozzies turned up

At least some of them did, as most went into the bin :(

Don't have a Scooby as to the year, but hope they are worth a peek anyways :)

You do like your jags

The 16 Sqn machine in shot two could be XX117 from the late 90s early 2000s

Nice too see.

Those are great shots paddy, reminds me of my first encounter with the RAF - the full scale plastic Jag they used to use to advertise the RAF.

Now that is dangerous! Luckily he has no knowledge of where I live!

Wonderful shots Patrick - keep all these coming and I am sure (now that the 'towers' are complete) there will be more time during the winter months and look forward to them

Cheers

Hi Peeps :P

Thanks for peeking and replying

Yes, unless SWMBO can find any further work, there should be a bit more 'wiggle room' for some delving

Cheers :thumb:

Hi Paddyboy :P
Another great set from yourself.
I can almost hear them on take off from that very spot.
I use to tread carefully down the side of that field and moved to opposite sides of the runway as the sun worked its way round.
A great base very sadly missed.
All the best

00 XX752
01 XX117
02-03 XX766(for '04 had 30'years marks so not that one)

Afternoon Paddyboy,

Lovely post mate, I always thought the Jag was an aircraft that looked like trouble, good looking lines. We never saw that many in this neck of the woods, but the display a/c was always good to see (and hear :P ) when you could catch it.

Keep em coming mate :thumb: ,

All the best

Bootiful selection Paddy  revisited that lane at the 22 end last year on our jollys into Narfick - all blanked off with mesh fencing and plastic sheeting - a really bad nightmare.. prefer to remember it from your pics

Best regards
Keith (3Greens) :thumb:
