HUNTER F6 XG210 What a difference a year makes!

On my customary route between Beck Row and Lakenheath I pass this old girl regularly, and she has faded gradualy. But no more, here are some before and after shots.

Some purists may spot non standard serial font and so far no stencelling, but still a great effort at no small expence to the owner. Good to see, cheers, Stig.

Just mentioned this to my dad, he's positive I've seen it, I don't think I have, looks very nice now, incorrect serial typeface (*Dons anorak*) or not :clap:

Well done to the owner for painting it - So many aircraft are bought then left to rot :(

Strangely enough its on the Beck Row to Lakenheath Road, between Beck Row and Undley.
Its right by the gate you can't miss it!

Lovely to see a Hunter being looked after.

@kevinstokes10 - do you know when she was used by BAe? I have a feeling that she was sent to Wittering 1974ish for a service and the airframe side was handled by BAe personnel but the engine by RAF - me, if it's the same aircraft!
