P.S. Anyone old enough to have memories or photos of '' Whiskey 4 '' RNAF , KLU team of 4 T-33s , Green and white livery , memories at Colt in mid 60's .

Remember seeing a team of Dutch T - Birds at the Benson B of B show 19th September '64 so I think it was probably them. M-5, M-6, M-26 and M-55 displayed while M-38 stayed on the ground as the spare.condor wrote:P.S. Another T-33 was in the static - 81TFW 0-35137. It was common practice in those days for tip tanks to be swapped around and this was fitted with one from 29597, also based at Bentwaters. By mid'66 though 0-35137 had been consigned to the Bentwaters fire dump.
Great post of a much missed type!
