What a collection Phil..thank you for showing them.
You obviously had better luck than me with access.On the two occasions I was there ,they wouldn't even let me photograph the gate guards!
The farmer who ended up with the Mig-21s and Sukhois wasn't any better.
Do you know where the Mig-23s went?

From a spam can, rented at one of the nearby civil airfields. Buzzing the airfield for half an hour in a Cessna/Piper became a popular activity. They're probably 10+ years ago though (we did it in 2006) - the Migs and Su's were all lined up on the taxiways and dispersals after their withdrawal from active service. Then when the SAC C-17's moved into Papa, they were towed to remote taxiways and dispersals off the airfield on a farmers land. That looks like where the ones covered in snow were taken. The farmer wasn't very friendly.
