Albacete TLP 18-3

Post by slogen51 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:06 am

I see the flying course for TLP 18-3 is planned to start on 10 September for three weeks

https://www.tlp-info.org/home/calendar

Wonder if it will go ahead and what aircraft will be involved?

Thanks for the link. Looking at the plan, TLP 18-3 will last until Friday 5th October, so 4 weeks in total. See also: http://www.scramble.nl/tlp

Cheers I didn't notice that

I usually go for 2 or 3 days but I think most spotters get the early morning flight to Murcia arrive at Albacete for the afternoon launch , you can see most of the remaining jets on the deck and head back in time for the evening flight home - not a bad day trip.

Absolutely! We usually fly into Alicante and stay the night in Murcia, a very pleasant old town. Spend the morning looking over the fence at San Javier, then drive up around lunchtime to catch the afternoon launch at Albacete, returning home that evening from Alicante. Usually manage a few bonus numbers at the Helicopter factory too.
