Cypriot mi35f hinds paphos

Post by PeteHemsley » Sat Jun 04, 2011 10:30 am

Hi all,

I was in paphos last week and our house was buzzed several times by the paphos based mi35f's. Now I know there are 11 of these choppers at paphos airport, but are they kept in the HAS sites or in the 2 large hangars? When we arrived and departed, there was no sign of the "crocodiles", however there were 4x ka28 helix present.

We saw three Ka-28s when we landed at Paphos on 22.5. Were these Russian ? They were some distance away, but looked as though they were two-tone blue camouflage and appeared to have a Russian flag on the fin.

there were 3 ka-28s together and had personnel around 2 of them and there was another next to the hangars with access doors open.

Possibly KA32M's used for fire fighting duties over the summer.
