Many thanks Chris!
I need to get over before the end of the week or else I'm going to be extremely gutted. Spent many hours at Leeming with only the odd hawk movements as you've mentioned and then these are all in...

Nice shots Chris, was that Polish F-16 one of two that arrived a little before the single Typhoon departed?

Very nice Mr P, myself and mr Atkins got these boys up at spade doing there stuff. For anyone wanting to use spade most of the flying is within the camp and along way from Wiley.
Flying may not be just restricted to spade as equipment has been set up well outside of the range.
Looking forward to getting down on Wednesday if anyone's about

Were these at Leeming Last Friday? If I had gone down to Waddington (which unfortunately I didn't) and I had known about these guys I would have stopped off.

John shot them from the field down past Londonderry cafe,, I went in the car park early on and met Sean and a couple of others for a short spell then proceeded to miss the Casa going out

they did show up Last Friday but sadly most folk did not know they were coming although there were a few heads ups here and there

Chris Globe
yes it was the same Polish F16's

Glyn you must be either the one of two young guys that showed up mid afternoon or the two from Bramley or my last guess is the two chaps who went off to track down the missing aircraft numbers mid afternoon

thanks for looking in fella's much appreciated

Great shots and good to see close ups of what we were seeing at a distance!

5000ft altitude, heat haze and distance from their track certainly don't make for good photos at Spade, although it was good to be able to see what they were and what kit was being carried. Your No.5 confirms the range of kit that the Belgium AF F-16 had on compared to the others.
As a certain MF has said its not brill at Wiley Sike, so take good binos or get your walking boots on if you want to get much closer and head north of the range boundaries - even then the light will probably be against you in some locations to the north! Still the scenery's fabulous and the company sometimes makes up for other shortfalls!! And if out and about and no company . . . well there's always horseflies and midges to chat to!
