Griffons, Grim Reapers & White Tops
Griffons, Grim Reapers & White Tops
Hi all,
We've been treated to some superb visitors at Lakenheath and Mildenhall over the past month or so, with lots of great shots on here covering the action - the USN contingent in particular. Following a few visits to both bases over the past few weeks, here's a selection of personal highlights:
Seeing the California ANG anniversary Eagle was one of my highlights for 2018. What a paint scheme!

The 55th WG have provided some nice visitors into the Hall too; starting with RC-135V 64-14841/OF wearing some nice Kadena TDY-inspired nose art and departing as 'Snoop 55':

Resident Rivet Joint 64-14846/OF is on TDY flying regular sorties as 'Mario 64', seen here about to depart on a long TDY sortie up around Scandinavia:

Nice selection
I have heard the California guard refer to themselves as Griffons on Lakenheath ground
Wasn't sure of the spelling.

Nice. That CA anniversary bird is really something. Got a couple of shots myself on Monday but in nowhere near as good light as yours.
