When uploading the next record to Flickr I was a little surprised, personally have never seen that the Americans will apply the same code an last 4 digits on the same kind of aircraft...

Awesome
I listened to the NATO Boeing on its last flight over MAM - didn't know that then
Didn't CR 74- phantoms have the same last three e.g 74-0626 and 74-1626 etc ( serials not real just off the top of my head)

Well, technically your EC-130H is a TC-130H (crew trainer). It is missing it's typical "fishnet" on the aft fuselage and several other antennas to be an actual EC-130H.

The last NATO E-3 to be retired, leaving the (as I understand it) planned 14 for future operations.
The "MY" Moody phantoms certainly did - in spades. There were several examples of both the 69-(0)xxx and 69-(7)xxx being present within the 347TFW - '258 and '298 being just two of the examples. I believe that they did, at least, have the decency to assign them to different tail band colours.
At their Open Days, one had to read the TDB of nearly every FY69 F-4 to make sure.
Cheers, Bob

I can’t believe you were at DM for 2 days and only got 1 EC-130. There is always 1 bouncing so many times you get bored of him. At least he’s good to practice prop blur or different angles
