After a night In Temple TX the next day a brief stop was made at Waco where only a DM EC-130H was sitting outside on the L3 ramp.
Next stop was JRB Fort Worth where not a lot was happening so on up to Fort Worth Alliance where an An124 of ADB was just noted departing then 'round to the 1 hour parking bays next to the ramp for some shots of some FAA Beech 90's and some visiting USAF a/c in the shape of 2 x T-6A's from Vance AFB a T-38C from Sheppard AFB (front seater had a Danish Flag shoulder patch) and a lone KC-135R from Grissom -

2W1A4674 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
Next up was Tulsa where the viewing area next to the ANG Ramp is now closed off so only a record shot taken from the freeway hard shoulder -
2W1A4722 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
Then up to McConnell AFB for the KC-135R's and a visiting Altus C-17 -

After that decided to head up to Salina Regional Airport (ex Schilling AFB/Smoky Hill AFB) to see if I could get a shot of the Connie and was pleasantly surprised to see 6 KC-135R's from the Kansas ANG Base @ Forbes Field near Topeka parked up on the ramp along with some resident UH-60's -

After an ONS in Wichita took a drive past Kegelman Air Force Auxiliary Field to note this T-6A on the ramp along with 2 more of the breed practicing what looked like dogfighting over the nearby Great Salt Plains Lake, Interestingly this was a Sunday afternoon -
2W1A5911 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
Record shot from Vance which was still pretty active @ 17:00 on a Sunday afternoon with T-1's T-6's and T-38's all flying -
2W1A5940 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
Next ONS was In Oklahoma City then a drive down to Fort Worth via Sheppard AFB for a looksee which didn't disappoint, plenty of T-6 and T-38 action with no hassles with viewing but it's a pity about the heat haze as the massive ramps hold all sorts of Interesting aircraft used for training including an all white B-52 -

This C-130 + 2 KC-135's were in a compound across the road from the Civil Terminal -
2W1A6220 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
After that it was back to Fort Worth where it was hoped that Hurricane Florence was going to provide JRB Ft Worth with some USAF/USN/USMC evacuee's but this never materialised and movements remained slow with only a few based F-16's seen flying - a couple of overviews -
2W1A6264 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
2W1A6266 by David Jaffray, on Flickr
Next day a return visit to Fort Worth Alliance where some Sheppard T-38's look to have followed me south -
