Smaller than in recent years, but plenty of RAF 100 stickers in evidence, the stripy Puma, and the 99 Sqn anniversary tail C-17 too. In order:

Nice to see, shame it is so few though.
Four Tornados (with a spare 'whipper-in" no doubt), that's about 1/6th of the fleet...

Re: QBF from north-east London
Nice shots Nick, where did you take them from?Thinking of going to City Airport for the 10th but they might be further north.
Have asked the question elsewhere if anybody else has used that area but no reply yet..Normally go to Waterloo Bridge but getting into central London not that easy mid week.
Any suggestions of other venues used further out?

Re: QBF from north-east London
These were taken from Wanstead Flats. London City Airport is too far south for the usual flypast routing, so I wouldn't recommend it. If you're using public transport then Wanstead Flats probably isn't the easiest location to get to. The former RAF Fairlop (now Fairlop Waters Country Park) may be a better choice - right next to Fairlop tube station.

I used the Millenium (wobbly) Bridge for my photos of the QBF, and will be going there again for RAF100.
