Nice surprise for a bit of pattern work at the Hall today Phenom 100 ZM337 calling CWL 63 , :thumb:

Cheers Dave,seems it may have been the first RAF training flight out of Cranwell for the type as well ??

No call sign but ZM334 was training on approaches, overshoots, missed approaches and touch 'n' gos at Scampton yesterday morning (19-4-18).

I'm not sure about that plane... it looks like a squashed-up Dominie. And the blue is an odd colour, it looks too light. Shouldn't it be the same shade as the blue in the roundel and fin stripe? (yes - my work IS very boring today !)

Agreed...I'd like a darker blue too. The new Grobs are in the same colour scheme.

He only did one touch and go then went in to the pattern low approaches not below 100ft

For those of us old enough to remember them (and probably even have some of them) it reminds me of an attempt by Matchbox to produce a die cast toy RAF Domine/HS125.

No doubt a very efficient and effective airframe and training platform though.

Some very nice images there, I hope they become a regular post here before too long.
Loving the cut&shut design on the Dominie, although for me, the engines appear further forward; the bonus here being able to stand on the wing for the intake checks...

Not quite Paul all but ZM336 has been seen by me on ADSB this week, usually showing as CWL19 .
